![]() The mattes are buttery soft (more than EH) and pigment shows well. It’s been often said that Clio’s reboot palettes from #11 onwards have great quality. ![]() I was absolutely entranced - you can see the difference in pic #6 and how it might appeal to a summer light. To this day, I don’t know what about #14 made me bug out with heart eyes, I just ordered it right after the video. What was wrong about EH’s Autumn Closet is my skin tone, the poor palette never stood a chance. ![]() In hindsight, thank freaking heck I’m a summer light who can work with bright colors ‘cause this could’ve turned out like EH. They really are, and arranged in application order as well. It seemed so fun and bright, and def liked how she said the two rows are two complete looks. When I saw Clio #14 in Minsco’s video a few If you’re a glitter fiend and love amazing sparkle, definitely consider their #1 All About Glitter palette. The quality is absolutely top notch though. Oh sweet summer child was me and it was the first one to be resold. I bought Unleashia’s Glitterpedia at the same time thinking these two would be all shadows I’d ever need. Since it was the darkest shade though, I wasn’t sure what to do with it. The glitters were meh, but the dark chocolate one was amazing. I have oily eyelids and didn’t use eyeshadow primer then (the NARS one is amazing btw) so can’t comment on its longevity. The mattes’ quality didn’t blow me away, but was totally fine. ![]() It took me a while to realize that the tones were different, and when I watched reviewers I was like OMG! It all makes sense now! The browns are just warm toned and deep enough that it looked muddy and bruised no matter how I tried the application. The muted purples are cool toned, which meant I only used that part of the palette. Sadly, I knew nothing about skin tones then and it totally showed because I ended up not very inspired or excited about it. I waffled between the bread palette and this one - this one won for its distinct two looks. I hadn’t discovered AB YouTubers then and EH was everywhere with its physical stores. I first grabbed Etude House’s Autumn Closet because I wanted to try a huge AB brand. The sub really helped me on a recent purchase, so maybe one day this post will help someone else! I’ve barely worn makeup for the past 15 years and recently rediscovered it. Soft colors work better on me anything medium to deep somehow turns into stage makeup. With that said! I’m pale as heck with neutral to cool undertones, and have very hooded double eyelids. Shu Uemura in 674 is too warm, 574 is massively too pink. Lancome P0-01 and YSL B10 are a hair too pink. I match Shiseido 115, NARS L1 for concealer. If you have any suggestions or things to add, please message the mods! Note that abusive or rude treatment of mods is not tolerated.
